Did you know The Jetsons took place in 2062? By the show’s predictions, only 40 years away from today, shouldn’t we all be traveling around in flying cars by now? I’m only joking, (kind of) because while we’re not yet piloting flying cars or teleporting from place to place, it’s certain that our vehicles are becoming more and more modern. This is especially evident in the rise of the Electric vehicle.
I am not a tree hugger, but if you are considering an electric car there are some unexpected benefits – from avoiding the sky-rocketing price of gas to the increase in available charging stations. Transitioning from a gas-powered vehicle to an electric one is like switching from a touch-tone phone to a smart one. You may dislike some things and love others. But as with smartphones, the vast majority of EV owners swear they will never go back, myself included.
Thinking about taking the electric plunge, specifically in the Tesla World? Check out my favorite Youtuber Ryan Shaw, a sentence the Jetsons could have never predicted.
The Price Hike a Decade in the Making
Recently Microsoft announced an increase to their commercial pricing for Microsoft 365—the first substantive pricing update since they launched Office 365 a decade ago. Microsoft stated that the updated pricing reflects the increased value they have delivered to our customers over the past 10 years, which you can read more about here.
The pricing changes will go into effect on March 1, 2022, but I have a few hacks for how you can still save money despite the price increase. Email me to learn more!
While I know winter is hitting most of the country quite hard right now, for many of us, when we get bundled up in layers of warm clothing, we tend to stop thinking about sun exposure. And contrary to what most people think, the sun’s ultraviolet rays can be just as damaging to your skin when it’s cold and cloudy outside, especially in the spots that are unprotected like your hands and face.
An easy solution? These UV Fingerless Gloves block 98% of UVA/UVB radiation, which are the leading cause of aging while contributing to basal and squamous cell skin cancers. Leave them in your car to protect your exposed hands while driving. And while you’re at it, reapply some sunscreen in the car as well.
How To Hide from the Internet
If you’ve never Googled yourself, try it. You might be surprised to find out just how much personal information pops up, even if you’re not actively on Facebook, Amazon, Google etc. It’s legal for companies to collect your info from public records, though it’s often creepy and potentially dangerous. So how can you remove it? Here are 6 tips to regain control of your online identity.
On the flip side, if you’re actively trying to be found online, and need some tips to stand out, feel free to schedule a free online consultation with our resident digital marketing expert, who also happens to be my daughter, Hannah.
